Add DigiLingo credit to a friend’s account, in any country. They can use it right away for calls, texts and translation.
Each company has its own Stripe account and bank. Customers pay the company for their country.
Customers pay what a call or text costs (Twilio, translation, speech) plus this. Rates in the app show their prices.
Exchange rates: how much of each currency one US dollar buys. Twilio charges in dollars, so these turn costs into each customer’s currency. Check them now and then.
Customers of one company sent credit to customers of another (Top-Up Friends, from their credit). The first company took the money; the second now owes those calls and texts. Settle these between your companies.
To add a company: create its Stripe account (same login, New account), put its secret key in .env as STRIPE_SECRET_KEY_XX, where XX is a short code such as US or BR, and restart the app. Its webhook goes to the address shown on its card. A customer’s company is fixed from their first credit, so changes here only affect people who haven’t added credit yet.
